To introduce tourism potential at Gunungkidul which has various natural tourism objects, The  Toursim Office of The Special Province of Yogyakarta join with The Tourism and Culture Office Of Gunungkidul District and supported by entrepreneurs with sponsorship will hold an activity named “NATURAL TOURISM EXPLORATION OF NGLANGGERAN MOUNTAIN “ located at Nglanggeran Village, Patuk Sub-District, Gunungkidul District, The Special Province of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. In the activity participants just take a walk relaxly abot 7 km around the Nglanggeran mountain or the so-called the ancient volcano ND has the beautiful scenery. It will happen on:

DI OBYEK WISATA KABUPATEN GUNUNGKIDUL

I. Pendahuluan

Dalam upaya mempromosikan potensi obyek wisata yang menjadi potensi kepariwisataan di Gunungkidul banyak hal yang telah dilaksanakan oleh Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kabupaten Gunungkidul, yang salah satunya adalah kegiatan Fam Tour bagi calon wisatawan potensial, dalam hal laporan ini Fam Tour dilaksanakan oleh wisatawan dari Jepang yang saat ini tinggal di Yogyakarta, dengan maksud dan harapan mereka  akan bisa menjadi marketer bagi orang-orang/masyarakat/keluarga mereka yang berada di Jepang dengan modal pengalaman lokasi obyek wisata yang mereka kunjungi, pelayanan yang baik dan keramahtamahan serta modal bahasa yang mereka kuasai, sehingga mempunyai minat untuk datang kembali sehingga diharapkan bisa menggerakan roda perekonomian (multiplier effek).

II. Maksud dan Tujuan

1. Mengenalkan potensi obyek wisata yang ada di Kabupaten Gunungkidul langsung menuju obyek wisata agar dikenal oleh wisatawan domestik maupun mancanegara, yang selanjutnya tertarik untuk berkunjung dilain kesempatan dengan mengajak orang lain sehingga bisa semakin banyak dikenal orang.
2. Memberikan pembelajaran dan melatih masyarakat di obyek wisata yang telah ditentukan dalam hal memberikan teknik pelayanan, pemanduan sehingga memberikan rasa yang nyaman bagi wisatawan.
3. Mendorong kesempatan berusaha bagi masyarakat sekitar.
4. Dampak terhadap masyarakat dapat dirasakan secara langsung dengan adanya transaksi jual beli makanan/minuman dan kerajinan yang ada menambah penghasilan masyarakat sekitar obyek wisata dan menumbuhkan dampak ekonomi berganda di obyek wisata tersebut.

Jam Peserta   : 2 dosen ISI Yogyakarta, 4 wisatawan Jepang

Lokasi           : Gunung Api Purba, Desa Wisata Bobung, Pantai Baron, Pantai Sundak serta menyaksikan matahari terbenam dalam perjalanan menuju  Yogyakarta

The journey to the beach area at Gunungkidul Regency is so interesting with curve of roads and attractive experience along the journey, and then we will be abused to see a restaurant of traditional building seem besides the entrance door of ticket selling for tourism objects named “KAMPOENG BARON”.
In valley and trapped area, Kampoeng Baron Resto exists with original Javanese and pyramid style concept combined with modern touch style. Visitors can also find many gazeboes like “cow-stable” as a place to have launch and dinner. The other facilities like: Dining-room, Meeting- room in Javanese style available for domestic and foreign tourists,
It is built in one hectare area and not far from Baron Beach, can be alternative culinary tourist object at Gunungkidul Regency. It serves specific menu of sea-food like: Kakap Soup, Lobster and also traditional menu like: Red-Rice, Green-Chilly Vegetable-dish, Salt-Fish, Sweet Fried-Soybean (tofu). Many European tourists like such menus.
To keep the cleanness and health of the served menu, it is developed periodically the garden of organics vegetables and fruits, Visitors can harvest them to cook and also buy various organic flower plants.

The traditional art wealth at Gunungkidul Regency, Special Province of Yogyakarta, is very heterogeneous. It is also influenced by foreign culture, proper, good, high and supreme value then the people adopt it and become new culture. One of then is JELANTUR  from the word “jelajah” means explore and “tutur” means word, EFFECTED by Islamic Religion and as device to disseminate Islamic Religion at Gunungkidul and around.
Along time ago the development of Islamic Religion was not so fast, The Pious Leader (Wali) especially Sunan Kalijaga used Jelantur to spread Islamic Religion. The people who had truth of animism and dynamism were directed the common life and knowledge of good and true religion as his doctrine. Gathering the people, he performed Jelantur and then advice them about Islamic Religion as Mohammad SAW Prophet done and based on Qur’an and Hadits.
In the long period of time, although people attitude was influenced by modern culture, it is real that Jelantur Art was still conserved. The Government of Gunungkidul Regency always performs Jelantur at the local, Regional, and National events.
